Without a Trace - Shirley Baker

A poignant photographic record of working-class communities during a period of significant urban redevelopment. Baker's work offers a compassionate glimpse into a vanished era of northern England.

The Night Shirt borrows from a classic pyjama shirt, popularised at the turn of the 19th century, as well as common workwear uniforms prevalent at the time. This popover style has been constructed in a hardy deadstock cotton stripe, now fit for work and wear.
